A little background about us.
The Hopewell Antique Center has been in business for 32 years. We began on Feb. 19, 1984 when four men invited dealers to have their shops located in a huge old building in the center of town! The rest as they say "is history"
Our business is located at the corner of 876 RT. 82 and 1 Church Street, Hopewell Jct., NY. The huge, four-story building has a rich history of its own. It was built in the late 1800's as part of the Emmadine Farm, a famous Guernsey breeding farm owned by Department store magnate J. C. Penney.
Later, it was used as an all-purpose hall for the Dutch Reformed Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and St. Columba Church. At one time, it housed the town's only movie theater. It was also used as McHoul's Furniture Store for many years.
Today about 27 dealers rent space to display a wide variety of merchandise – furniture, art, fine and costume jewelry, silver, pottery, china, glass, linens, toys, record albums, and collectibles.
As a service, Porcelain Restoration is done on premises.
So if you're looking for some treasured items, collectibles, antiques or generally decorating, pay us a visit. In town for the Stormville Flea Market or another attraction, be sure and make Hopewell Antique Center a stop on your destination. See our About Town section for more fun and interesting things to do in and around Hopewell Junction, NY.
We are featuring blue and white china. There are numerous pieces in the shop. Blue and white seems to be the most popular color combination that customers buy. It always looks lovely in a kitchen or living room. Come in for a piece to add to your collection or maybe use as just an accent piece!
